Becoming a Member

Any person having Filipino heritage or ancestry, or being married to a person of Filipino heritage and ancestry, regardless of age, race, sex or religion can be a member. Any person sponsored/nominated by a member of the organization (and approved by the officers) is also qualified to become a member.

Member Classes:

- Voting Members - Members are adults 18 years or older is entitled to one vote on all matters for which a membership vote is required by the bylaws of this organization.

- Non-Voting Members – are immediate family of voting members who are under the age of 18.

Termination, Expulsion, and Suspension:

- A member may voluntary terminate his/her membership by submitting a written request to the Executive Board. A terminated member will need a written request to the Executive Board for re-entry to the Organization.

- For actions deemed not proper, a member may be expelled by the Executive Board after giving the member at least 30 days written notice of the expulsion and the reasons for the act. The member shall be given an opportunity to be heard by the Executive Board, orally or in writing, at least five days before the effective date of expulsion. The decision of the Executive Board shall be final, and shall not be subject to any review or appeal.

Membership Dues:

Each voting member will be assessed an annual due of $25.00 per person or $40.00 per household.

A lifetime members is $300.00.

Money derived from dues will be used for administrative purpose as authorized by the Executive Board and not for social functions or special projects. Any change in the amount of the annual dues will be through a majority vote of the entire membership.
