Message from the President!
On behalf of the Filipino American Society of Fairbanks, I want to thank all of the previous and consequent officers and members of their support, hard work and dedication to the association. For the past two years, we have seen many activities and events successfully completed.
As the President of our association, we will continue to adhere to the ideals and objectives on which the association was founded. We are a family oriented organization and as such, we will continue to participate in cultural functions; be involved in community events; and raise funds to enable our participation in charitable causes.
Our organization continues to grow larger and stronger with each passing year. Our association is beginning to establish name recognition among the Filipino communities in Alaska. This recognition comes as the result of many hours of hard work involving both the officers and members of the association.
I challenge each of you as officers and members to meet new people, make new friends and become more involved in the community. I ask that each of you participate and provide support for the association throughout the coming years.
Our member sponsorship program welcomes our Kabayan’s military families and college students and give them a sense of home. Mabuhay sa inyong lahat!
